This one is super easy friends! But, one of my all time go to's for feeling full and getting my nutrients in!
Sweet Potato Fries! :)
Ok, so I've heard that an air fryer is a game changer, but my cheap ass, hasn't invested in one yet. Partially because I live with my mom and sister for the time being, and I'm trying to wait until I get my own place again, with enough counter top again, and also paying for school is my first priority, because I don't want to be in more debt. #adultproblems #priorities lol
So, here's my favorite way to make sweet potatoes! I know you'll enjoy them too!
Step 1:
Preheat oven to around 400 degrees.
Step 2:
Cut sweet potatoes into spears. I personally like to keep the skin on them, because it add's a little crisp to them! :)
Step 3:
Spray your cookie sheet with Olive oil spray or coconut oil spray.
I like to use olive oil or coconut oil because these are healthy fats vs saturated fats. I've seen where you can even get an attachment that is aerosol free from places like bed bath and beyond. But, I haven't converted yet.
Step 4:
Spread out your sweet potatoes onto the cookie sheet and spray them with your oil spray. Then, add your seasonings on top! I use a few different combinations, depending on if I want them salty, sweet, or both. I usually prefer them salty though! :)
(Combination sSalty: Olive Oil Spray, Garlic Powder, and Himalayan Pink Salt; Combination Sweet: Coconut Oil Spray and Cinnamon; Combination Salty and Sweet: Coconut Oil Spray, Cinnamon, and Himalayan Pink Salt)
All of these are delicious, whichever way you choose!
Step 5:
Put in oven and go dance, watch some netflix, or do something for 30ish minutes. Honestly, I forget about them for 30-45 minutes, but I don't set a timer. I then, run and check on them. Most of the time they are close to being done, but need to be mixed around a bit, so I use a spatula and push them around in the seasonings for a little bit, and then I leave them alone for another 30ish minutes! Then they're done! I prefer mine a little burnt, so if you don't then set a timer for 30 minutes, stir, then set another timer for 20ish minutes, and they should come out golden! If not, I'm sorry, I'm not a professional chef :)

I know you'll enjoy them as much as I do!
As always, Be Your Best Self!
xoxo, Aud
